Zakat Al-Fitr is a small obligatory charitable donation for every fasting Muslim at the end of Ramadan. The Prophet (ﷺ) prescribed zakat payable Muslims on closing the fast of Ramadan one Sa’ (unit of measurement) of dried dates or one Sa’ of barley (Sahih).
We calculate Zakat Al-Fitr (Fitra) to be $10 enough to generously feed a needy individual. Zaakat Al-Fitr must be distributed before Eid Prayer so it is best to donate a day or two prior.
Your Zakat Al-Fitr donations will be distributed in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Myanmar, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Bosnia.
