Shelter for Indonesia Earthquake Victims

IDP families access to culturally appropriate shelters and strengthened knowledge and practice in Earthquake Resistant housing and mitigation. The transitional shelter (T-Shelter) that will be built is a housing option that helps people affected by natural disasters who have lost their original housing until they can return to or recover to acceptable permanent accommodation. A standard design has already been produced by Public Works Ministry however, this is primarily for IDPs who have completely lost their housing or land due to the earthquake/liquefaction and widespread communal damage.
